The set of smell matching bottles help the user to use their olfactory sense.
The aim of the activity is to smell the contents of each bottle and match the scents. often this activity leads to conversations as the person remembers past events associated with a particular scent.
The set comes in empty timber, glass or plastic bottles, ready for you to choose and place a different scent in each pair of bottles.
The activity can be done individually, however conversation will be better encouraged when used with another person or carer.
Careful and mindful observation of the person working with this material will help to identify any cognitive or sensorial changes taking place.
