This flat to the ground board is designed to help the young child develop their standing posture. The child places their feet in the marked space and learns to find their balance when standing tall by feeling the four points of each soul of foot - the little toe ball joint, big toe ball joint, outer and inner corners of heel. Using the same method the child can also practice their balance by standing on one foot or simply moving their arms in a variety of positions while trying to maintain a steady balance by keeping their feet grounded.
