This timber puzzle is sturdy and constructed of quality timber. The Fraction Stacks puzzle is designed to help the the child learn about and understand proportions of a whole. The puzzle is divided into 8 equal height vertical stacks with each stack being formed from a a different amount of parts to demonstrate 1/2, 1/3, 1/4, 1/6, 1/8, 1/10 and 1/12. Each stack is colour coded in relation to the fraction being demonstrated. As the child becomes engaged with the material they can explore the relationship between the fractions.
