This neat timber kit is designed to provide an avenue for the child to practice and develop their writing skills. When the box is filled with clean sand it provides the perfect tactile medium that the child can use with their finger to draw a letter, number or symbol shape; or they may move to using one of the writing tools with which to write in the sand in preparation for using a pencil on paper.
The kit includes wooden tools; one for providing a line or lines upon which to write and another for smoothing over the surface and clearing the drawing from the sand so as to write another.
