This set of ten 3D solid timber grammar symbols comes with a sectioned wooden tray for display.
The material is used as part of the child's introduction to grammar. The sensorial approach enables the child to visualise the parts of speech as they use these 3D objects to identify the variety of parts to a sentence.
The 10 grammar Symbols represent the following in 2D:
# Noun - Large Black Triangle
# Article - Small Light Blue Triangle
# Adjective - Large Dark Blue Triangle
# Pronoun - Large Purple Triangle
# Verb - Large Red Circle
# Adverb - Small Orange Circle
# Conjunction - Small rectangle
# Preposition - Small Green crescent
# Interjection - Large Gold Keyhole Shape or Triangle with circle on top.
and
# Non-descriptive adjectives - Large Light Blue Triangle

The additional Non-descriptive Adjective Symbol
Non-descriptive adjectives are given a light blue triangle that is the same size as the dark blue descriptive adjective symbol. Possessives are non-descriptive adjectives (her, your, my, our, their, club's, Lucy's, etc.) Numerical adjectives, definite (1000, 325, all, every, each, etc) and indefinite (some, few, several) are non-descriptive.
