The Botany Nomenclature Card set includes two sets of 18 leaf shapes printed on plastic stock;
one control set with leaf shape labels and one set with leaf shapes and separate labels.
These versatile cards introduce children to leaf shape types and labels. The cards can be used as a research tool when identifying found leaves or as a sorting experience as children categorise and match the shapes and labels.
Through shape identification and word recognition, children are challenging their literacy and numeracy skills while exploring aspects of the natural world.
